We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 284th Leo’s Kid, 11-year-old Susmita Chaudhary, has successfully completed her active treatment for blood cancer and is now entering the maintenance phase! Susmita is the 154th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
After 49 days of dedicated care and unwavering strength, Susmita is finally heading home. Susmita received her treatment at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. During these challenging 49 days, Susmita and her family stayed at Leo’s Kid C-Flat, which became their home away from home.
Her parents, Suman Chaudhary (who works in driving) and Renu Kumari Chaudhary (a housewife), have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Susmita’s journey. Their dedication, along with Susmita’s incredible resilience, has brought them to this significant milestone.
