We are honored to celebrate the sixth annual Leo’s Kids Benefit in his memory.
Today marks six years since our beautiful Leo was born, and we are honored to celebrate the sixth annual Leo’s Kids Benefit in his memory.Over the past five years, we’ve learned so much from our Leo’s Kids and their families—how to best support those who travel long distances to an unfamiliar city, how to build a strong community where they can lean on each other, and how to work alongside hospitals while seeking guidance from doctors. One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is that medical expenses are just one part of the struggle—housing, food, and transportation are equally critical. Many families are forced to abandon treatment simply because they cannot afford a place to stay. That’s why we have focused on providing safe housing for families facing pediatric cancer. So far, we’ve supported eight hospitals across Nepal and reached 210 Leo’s Kids families.
We recently welcomed our 200th Leo’s Kid, 15-year-old Samir Bohara, and celebrated our 100th Leo’s Kid, Bhumika Adhikari, completing active treatment and returning home. Many of our kids have gone back to school, some have started college, and others are beginning their own families. Now, we are expanding our support to include transportation, education, and medical expenses. But the challenges ahead are even greater—pediatric bone marrow transplants, hospice, and palliative care are urgent needs in Kathmandu.None of this would be possible without YOU. To every room sponsor, financial donor, and supporter—whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or just joined Team Leo’s Kids—thank you for making an impact.
In honor of Leo’s birthday, we invite you to make a one-time donation or, if you’re able, become a monthly donor to help support these brave children. Every donation, every share, and every kind word makes a difference.🙏🏽 Donate now: https://LeoNepal.org/donate#HonoringLeo #LeosKids
