Meet our 264th Leo’s Kid: Unik Mahatara!
We are honored to welcome our 264th Leo’s Kid, Unik Mahatara, a brave 15-year-old boy from Dang! Unik is currently undergoing treatment for T Cell cancer (a type of blood cancer) at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital.
Unik’s journey began with a persistent fever, leading his family to the District Hospital for a blood test. When the results showed abnormalities, he was quickly referred to Bharatpur Cancer Hospital, where further examinations confirmed the diagnosis of blood cancer.
His father, Hira Lal Mahatara, works as a labourer, and his mother, Sarita Mahatara, is a devoted housewife. To provide a stable and comfortable environment during his treatment, Unik and his family are staying at our C-Flat. Before his diagnosis, Unik was a student in Class 9 at New Star English Boarding School.
