The Khukuri Has Reached Terry in Virginia, USA
The Khukuri has safely reached Terry’s hands. Congratulations Terry once again! We are glad the Khukuri arrived just in time for Christmas to celebrate your support towards our foundation.
As each day passes, we realize that everything happens for a greater reason, and so is the story of this khukuri. Traveling over a long flight through Kathmandu and Istanbul, plus over 4 hours of flight delay, the luggage carrying this stunning blade got lost at the airport upon arriving in Minnesota, USA. It was eventually found after some delay with the airline but it arrived safely, and made its journey into the hands of Terry in Virginia, USA. The khukuri made an arduous journey to reach Terry just in time for the holiday season, and we think that is incredible.
The khukuri drawing helped us raise about $15,000 for the children, and we are deeply thankful to Harald Baldr and all our generous donors. We could not have done this without you. Please keep inspiring us like you do and sending us words of encouragement and support so we can help more children.
