Eight-year-old Shreesha Gurung from Sankhuwasabha is bravely fighting blood cancer. Just two months ago, she began experiencing fever, headaches, and loss of appetite. After being taken to Kanti Children’s Hospital, she was diagnosed with blood cancer and referred to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital for ongoing treatment.
Shreesha is currently staying with her family at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flats, generously sponsored by the Jurgens-Pankonins family. She is a third grader at Arun Valley Boarding School.
A heartfelt thank you to Team Leo’s Kids and our wonderful donors for making it possible to provide a safe and supportive environment for Shreesha and her family during this difficult time. Together, we’re creating a community of care, hope, and resilience.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our journey in creating not just shelter, but a place of hope and togetherness for Leo’s Kids.
