Meet our newest 224th Leo’s Kid, Priyansu Pun!
Join us in giving a warm welcome to our 224th Leo’s Kid, brave 5-year-old Priyansu Pun! Priyansu comes to us from Kawasoti-5, Nawalpur, and has been diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
Priyansu’s journey began with concerning symptoms like diarrhea and low blood levels, leading her parents, Indra Bahadur Pun (who serves in the Armed Police Force) and Puspanjali Rana Magar Pun, to seek help at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital. It was there that their fears were confirmed with a cancer diagnosis. During her treatment, her doctor, Krishna Sagar Sharma, referred them to the Leonardo Edward Shrestha Foundation for support.
Before her diagnosis, Priyansu was a lively LKG student at Bal Bidhya Montessori School. Now, while staying at our C-Flats during her treatment, she finds joy and comfort in watching cartoons and dancing – little moments of brightness that truly inspire us all. We are committed to supporting Priyansu and her family every step of the way, providing housing, food, and other necessary assistance as she bravely faces her treatment.
