Meet our 287th Leo’s Kid: Mohammad Faruq Miya! 🧡
We are honored to welcome Md Faruq Miya, a brave 15-year-old young man from Kapilvastu, to our Leo’s Kids family. Md Faruq is currently fighting Blood Cancer and is receiving treatment at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital.
His journey began with a fever and persistent pain in his legs and hands. When initial medication did not provide relief, further investigations led doctors to suspect cancer. He was then referred to a specialized hospital where the diagnosis was confirmed, and he is now undergoing ongoing treatment.
To support him during this time, Md Faruq and his family are staying at our C-Flat. This provides a stable environment for his parents—his father, Md Mar Miya, who is a farmer, and his mother, Amina Khatoon, a housewife—to focus on his care.
Let’s come together to surround Md Faruq and his family with strength and hope as he continues his brave fight against cancer. Every bit of support brings him closer to recovery and returning home.
