Meet our 256th Leo’s Kid: Khushi Kumari Shah!
We are so happy to welcome our 256th Leo’s Kid, Khushi Kumari Shah, a brave 9-year-old girl from Sarlai! Khushi is currently undergoing treatment for Blood Cancer at Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu.
Khushi’s journey began with a persistent fever and vomiting, along with noticeable lumps in her neck. Her parents, Chandeshwor Shah and Anita Kumari Gupta, who both run their own businesses, took her to Nawalpur Hospital. After a blood test showed signs of cancer, she was referred to Kanti Children’s Hospital for a diagnosis.
To provide a supportive and safe environment for Khushi and her family, we are providing them with a home at our K-Flat. Before her diagnosis, Khushi was a student in Class 1 at Balbalika English Boarding School. She is a talented artist who loves drawing and painting, and we hope this creative outlet continues to bring her joy and comfort during her treatment.
