Every Child Deserves a Chance: International Childhood Cancer Day
Today, on International Childhood Cancer Day, we stand with every child fighting cancer and every family navigating this difficult journey. Childhood cancer doesn’t just impact a child’s health—it affects their education, emotional well-being, and family stability. But together, we can change that.
At the Leonardo Edward Shrestha Foundation, we have seen firsthand how access to housing, transportation, medical care, and emotional support can make all the difference. Over the years, 210 Leo’s Kids have found hope and healing through our support system, and more than 100 children have completed their active treatment—returning home, resuming school, and rebuilding their futures.
Yet, so many children still need our help. No child should have to fight cancer alone, and no family should have to choose between treatment and survival due to financial hardships.
This International Childhood Cancer Day, let’s come together to make a difference. Your support provides shelter, education, transportation, and care for children in Nepal battling cancer.
