Meet our 299th Leo’s Kid, Durga Kumari Bin!
We are so honored to welcome our 299th Leo’s Kid, Durga Kumari Bin! This brave 11-year-old girl from Basantapur, Parsa District, has recently joined our family and is beginning her journey to recovery.
Durga has been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Her medical journey began when she was initially seen at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj. She was subsequently referred to B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Chitwan, where she is currently receiving treatment.
She is staying comfortably at our C-Flat, a safe and supportive home away from home while she focuses on getting well. Durga’s father, Nagendra Mukhiya Bin, works as a laborer, and her mother, Manju Devi Bin, is a housemaid. Durga is also a sister to three siblings: Rekha Kumari Bin, Suraj Kumar Bin, and Syam Sundar Bin.
Despite these challenges, we are committed to supporting Durga and her family every step of the way! Please join us in sending your warmest wishes and strength to Durga and her family as they navigate this difficult time.
