We’re thrilled to share the wonderful news that our 176th Leo’s Kid, 10-year-old Yujisma Budamagar, has successfully completed her active treatment for Yolk Sac Tumor and is now entering the maintenance phase! Yujisma is the 110th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
Yujisma received her treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital under the expert care of Dr. Ritu Lamichhane. During these challenging 155 days, Yujisma and her family stayed at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial flat, in the Pam & Paul Olson room, which became their home away from home.
Her parents, Motilal Budamagar and Bimala Sunkhani, both working as laborers, have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Yujisma’s journey.
We are incredibly proud of Yujisma and her family and wish her all the best on her continued path to full recovery!
