We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 213th Leo’s Kid, 4-year-old Esmriti Mahar, has successfully completed her active treatment for embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma and is now entering the maintenance phase! Esmriti is our 119th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
Esmriti received her treatment at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital under the expert care of Dr. Krishna Sagar Sharma. During these challenging 109 days, Esmriti and her family stayed at Leo’s Kid C-flat, which became their home away from home.
Her parents, Sher Bahadur Mahar, working in foreign employment, and Debika Sarki, a housewife, have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Esmriti’s journey. We are incredibly proud of Esmriti and her family and wish her all the best on her continued path to full recovery!
