We’re overjoyed to share heartwarming news about Bishal Kuswar — our 172nd Leo’s Kid and the 116th to survive cancer! At just 7 years old, Bishal has bravely completed his active treatment for blood cancer and is now entering maintenance phase. Best of all, he’s finally heading home.
Bishal received his treatment at Patan Hospital under the expert care of Dr. Sucharita Tuladhar. During these challenging 334 days, Bishal and his family found a home away from home at Leo’s Kid P-flat.
Bishal’s parents, Karna Bahadur Kuswar, a driver, and Fulmati Kuswar, who works in farming, have been a constant source of love and strength throughout his journey. We are incredibly proud of Bishal and his family and wish him all the best on his continued path to full recovery! His next maintenance check-up is scheduled for February 28, 2025.
