We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 178th Leo’s Kid, the 4-year-old Anup Thapa, has successfully completed his active treatment for Hodgkin Lymphoma and is now entering the maintenance phase! Anup is our 115th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
Anup received his treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital under the expert care of Dr. Ritu Lamichhane. During these challenging 269 days, Anup and his family stayed at Leo’s Kid Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flat, in the Marion Reimer room, which became their home away from home.
His parents, Pradip Thapa and Tulsi Thapa, both working as laborers, have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Anup’s journey. We are incredibly proud of Anup and his family and wish him all the best on his continued path to full recovery!
