Meet our 225th Leo’s Kid: Anshika Yadav!
We are happy to introduce you to our 225th Leo’s Kid, the incredibly brave 11-year-old Anshika Yadav! Anshika hails from Sayari-2, Rupendehi, Lumbini, and has recently begun her treatment journey for B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital. During her time with us, she’s staying comfortably in our C-Flats, a safe and supportive environment for her and her family.
Anshika’s story began when a persistent fever led her parents, Harisankhar Yadav, a dedicated farmer, and Germala Kumari Yadav, to seek medical help at Bhim Hospital in Bhairahawa. After initial tests raised concerns, they were referred to BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital (BPMCH) in Bharatpur, where the diagnosis of blood cancer was confirmed. This courageous young girl was attending Class 4 at Saraswoti English Boarding School before her diagnosis, and we are committed to providing her with all the care and support she needs to continue her fight.
Her family’s strength and resilience are truly inspiring, and we are honored to walk alongside them during this challenging time.
