Anand Dom Malik 201

Eight-year-old Anand Dom Malik has been bravely fighting a Posterior Region Tumor. Originally from Dhanusha, Anand is currently receiving treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital while staying at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flats in a room generously sponsored by Pam & Paul Olson.

Before his diagnosis, Anand was a cheerful student at Children Learning School, studying in Grade 1. While undergoing treatment, Anand enjoys spending his time playing with his toys, which brings him moments of joy during this challenging journey.

Anand’s journey began with severe headaches and vomiting. Concerned, his parents took him to Janaki Hospital, where doctors performed an X-ray, urine test, and CT scan—ultimately revealing the tumor. He was first referred to Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, and then to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, where he continues to receive care.

Despite the hardships, Anand’s spirit remains strong. His parents, Pradim, a dedicated farmer, and Rita, have been by his side every step of the way.
