Meet our 231st Leo’s Kid, Aayan Majhi!
We are so happy to introduce this courageous 4-year-old boy from Kavrepalanchok, who has recently joined the Leonardo Edward Shrestha Foundation. Aayan is currently undergoing treatment for blood cancer at Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu.
Aayan’s journey has been challenging. It began when he was diagnosed with a hernia, and during a blood test at Dhulikhel Hospital, doctors suspected cancer. He was then referred to Kanti Children’s Hospital for further confirmation and specialized treatment. Despite these initial hurdles, Aayan’s spirit remains bright.
He is currently staying at our comfortable K-Flat, providing a vital home and support system for him and his family during this crucial time. His parents, Himal and Manisha Majhi, are by his side, providing unwavering love and care. Before his diagnosis, Aayan was a cheerful playgroup student at Shree Navajyoti School in Bhotetar.
We are so grateful to have Aayan and his family join our Leo’s Kids community. Your support allows us to provide essential long-term housing, food, transportation, medical assistance, and other necessary aid to children like Aayan throughout their challenging treatment journeys.
