Celebrating Kiaan Bayambu: Our 159th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 247th Leo’s Kid, 2-year-old Kiaan Bayambu, has successfully completed his active treatment for blood cancer and is now entering the maintenance phase! Kiaan is the 159th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
After 369 days of dedicated care and unwavering strength, Kiaan is finally heading home. Kiaan received his treatment at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. During these challenging 369 days, Kiaan and his family stayed at Leo’s Kid C-Flat, which became their home away from home.
His parents, Bom Bahadur Bayambu (who works as a teacher) and Kalpana Rana (a housewife), have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Kiaan’s journey. Their dedication, along with Kiaan’s incredible resilience, has brought them to this significant milestone.
We are incredibly proud of Kiaan and his family and wish him all the best on his continued path to full recovery!
