Celebrating Gauri Kusuwaha: Our 155th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer
We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 226th Leo’s Kid, 6-year-old Gauri Kusuwaha, has successfully completed her active treatment for Eye Retinoblastoma and is now entering the maintenance phase! Gauri is the 155th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
After 316 days of dedicated care and unwavering strength, Gauri is finally heading home. Gauri received her treatment at Patan Hospital. During these challenging 316 days, Gauri and her family stayed at Leo’s Kid P-Flat, which became their home away from home.
Her parents, Suman Kusuwaha (who works in farming) and Susmita Kusuwaha (a housewife), have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Gauri’s journey. Their dedication, along with Gauri’s incredible resilience, has brought them to this significant milestone.
We are incredibly proud of Gauri and her family and wish her all the best on her continued path to full recovery!
