We are so happy to welcome 7-year-old Jensan Shahi from Kalika, Pachai Janta Rural Municipality, as our 309th Leo’s Kid! Jensan has been diagnosed with Classic Hodgkin Lymphoma and is currently receiving treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
Jensan and his family are currently staying at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial (Room: Pam Paulson), where they have a comfortable and supportive environment to focus on his recovery. His father, Netra Raj Shahi, is a farmer, and his mother, Meena Yashodha Shahi, is a housewife. Jensan is a beloved brother to his two siblings.
Jensan’s story started when a mass was discovered on his neck. His family traveled to Surkhet B & C Hospital, Nepalgunj Teaching Hospital, and Apollo Hospital seeking clarity as the mass grew. Their journey eventually led them to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, where he is now getting the care he needs.
Before his diagnosis, Jensan was a diligent Grade 3 student at Shree Kalika Devi B. School. He is a brave little boy with a big heart, and we are committed to supporting him every step of the way—providing housing, food, and assistance with his medical journey.
Please join us in sending your warmest wishes and strength to Jensan and his family. Your encouragement means the world to them!
