We are honored to welcome 9-year-old Moyam Sainju as our 300th Leo’s Kid! This brave young boy from Imadol, Lalitpur, has been diagnosed with brain cancer and is currently receiving treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
Moyam’s journey began about two years ago with what seemed like mild headaches. While attending school, his condition unfortunately worsened. He was rushed to the emergency department at Kanti Hospital, where a tumor was identified following an operation. Since then, Moyam has shown incredible resilience, undergoing surgery twice at Bir Hospital before being referred to Bhaktapur for his current care.
To support him during this time, Moyam and his family are staying comfortably at our C-Flat, providing them with a safe and peaceful environment close to the hospital.
Moyam is a dedicated student in Class 3 at Shree Tarapunji School. His father, Mohan Krishna Sainju, and his mother, Manju Sainju (who works as a sales girl), are by his side. Moyam also has two supportive siblings, Manjita and Moyana, cheering him on.
Reaching our 300th Leo’s Kid is a milestone that reminds us of the many brave children and their families we’ve walked alongside. Despite the challenges of the past two years, Moyam continues to fight with a quiet strength that inspires us all. Let’s surround Moyam and his family with love, prayers, and encouragement as they continue this journey with Team Leo’s Kids.
If you’d like to support brave Leo’s Kids like Moyam, please consider donating. Your kindness changes lives.
