Meet our 296th Leo’s Kid: Ankit Mahara! 🧡
We are happy to welcome Ankit Mahara, a brave 2-year-old boy from Laxminiya Rural Municipality, Dhanusha, to our Leo’s Kids family. Ankit is currently fighting Blood Cancer and is receiving treatment at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital.
Ankit’s journey began when he suffered from what initially appeared to be a common cold and pneumonia. He was first taken to a local hospital in Janakpur for care and was subsequently referred to B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Bharatpur for specialized treatment, where his journey to recovery continues.
To provide a stable and supportive environment during his journey, Ankit and his family are staying at our C-Flat. This home away from home allows his parents—Rajkumar Rabidas, who works as a labourer, and Pinki Kumari Mahara, a housewife—to focus entirely on his care and recovery without the added stress of finding a place to stay.
Let’s surround Ankit and his family with love, strength, and hope as he undergoes his treatment. Every bit of support helps him get one step closer to returning home.
