We are happy to welcome Alka Kumari Yadav, a brave 13-year-old girl from Dhanusha, Sahidnagar, to our Leo’s Kids family. Alka is currently fighting B All (Blood Cancer) and is receiving treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
Alka’s journey began with an initial fever. She was first examined at a clinic in Janakpur and was subsequently referred to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital for further evaluation and specialized care, where her treatment is now ongoing.
To provide a stable and supportive environment during her journey, Alka and her family are staying at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flat. This home away from home allows her parents—Narendra Kumar Yadav, who works as a farmer, and Lalita Devi Yadav, a housewife—to focus entirely on her care and recovery. Before her diagnosis, Alka was a dedicated student in Class 8 at Rani Secondary School.
Let’s surround Alka and her family with love, strength, and hope as she undergoes her treatment. Every bit of support helps her get one step closer to returning home and to her school.
