We are happy to welcome Laxmi Raj Subedi, a brave 13-year-old boy from Ramechhap Municipality-8, Dumnikharka, to our Leo’s Kids family. Laxmi Raj is currently fighting Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) and is receiving treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
Laxmi Raj’s journey began when he experienced a fever along with swelling and pain in his legs. He was first taken to a clinic in Janakpur for a medical checkup and was later brought to Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu, where his cancer diagnosis was confirmed. He has since been referred to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital for his ongoing treatment.
To provide a stable and supportive environment during his journey, Laxmi Raj and his family are staying at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flat in the Charma Amarsingha No. 8 room. This home away from home allows his parents—Shri Ram Subedi, who works as a farmer, and Bimla Subedi, a housewife—to focus entirely on his care and recovery. Before his diagnosis, Laxmi Raj was a dedicated student in Class 8.
Let’s surround Laxmi Raj and his family with love, strength, and hope as he undergoes his treatment. Every bit of support helps him get one step closer to returning home to Ramechhap and to his studies.
