Meet our 279th Leo’s Kid: Samir Kumar Yadav! 🧡
We are happy to welcome Samir Kumar Yadav, a brave 5-year-old boy from Janakpur, to our Leo’s Kids family. Samir is currently fighting Blood Cancer (B-cell) and is receiving treatment at Kanti Children’s Hospital.
Samir’s journey began when he developed a fever and noticed red patches appearing on his body. After a medical test was conducted, cancer was diagnosed, and he was referred to Kanti Children’s Hospital for further specialized treatment.
To provide a stable and supportive environment during his journey, Samir and his family are staying at our K-Flat. This home away from home allows his parents, Rakesh Kumar Yadav, who works in farming, and Rekha Kumari Yadav, a housewife, along with his sibling, to stay together while focusing on his recovery.
Before his diagnosis, Samir was a bright student in Nursery at Dhanusha Public School.
Let’s surround Samir and his family with love, strength, and hope as he undergoes his treatment. Every bit of support helps him get one step closer to returning home and to his school.
