Meet our 274th Leo’s Kid: Aayush Kumar Mandal! 🧡
We are so happy to welcome our 274th Leo’s Kid, Aayush Kumar Mandal, a brave 5-year-old boy from Siraha! Aayush is currently undergoing treatment for B-cell ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
Aayush’s journey began with a persistent fever, which led his family to seek care at a hospital in Janakpur. From there, he was referred to Kanti Bal Hospital in Kathmandu, and finally to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, where he was diagnosed and began his specialized treatment.
His father, Chandeshwor Mandal, who works in farming, and his mother, Devsati Mandal, a housewife, are standing right by his side. To provide them with a supportive home during this time, they are staying at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial in the Nirju Room. Before his diagnosis, Aayush was a bright PG student at Shree Durga Public E.B. School.
