We are filled with joy to share the wonderful news about our brave little hero, Aayush Waiba!
At just 3 years old, Aayush has reached a major milestone in his battle against Blood Cancer, officially becoming our 142nd Leo’s Kid to Survive Cancer and our 268th Leo’s Kid overall!
Aayush received his specialized treatment at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital. For 115 days, Aayush and his parents—Bijan Waiba (who works as a driver) and Sabina Praja (a housewife)—stayed in the Leo’s Kids C-Flat (Room: Nem Shankhar Manandhar). This provided them with a peaceful and supportive home while they were away from their permanent residence in Hetauda, Makwanpur.
Aayush was released from the treatment as he successfully transitioned into the Maintenance phase of his recovery. We are incredibly moved by his resilience and the unwavering support of his family throughout this journey.
