Celebrating a Milestone: Anisha Baniya, Our 103rd Leo’s Kid, Returns for Follow-Up!
We are thrilled to share an inspiring update on one of our amazing Leo’s Kids! Anisha Baniya, who was our 103rd child to join the Foundation, has traveled a long distance from her home in Ilam, in the far eastern part of Nepal, with her mother and aunt to be with us for her routine three-month follow-up check-up.
These regular check-ups are essential to monitor her health and ensure her continued wellness after successfully completing her active treatment. It’s a powerful sign of hope and recovery to see her back at the Leo’s Kids K-Flat!, James, had a wonderful opportunity to talk with Anisha, connect with her family, and hear about life back home. These interactions reinforce the deep connection and long-term support we provide, covering everything from housing and food to medical assistance during these vital follow-up visits.
