We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the wonderful news about our young champion, Govinda Bahadur Sarki! This brave 4-year-old has reached a huge milestone in his fight against Wilms tumor, becoming our 131st Leo’s Kid to Finish Cancer treatment and enter the maintenance phase! He is also our 237th Leo’s Kid overall!
Govinda received his care at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital. For 95 days, Govinda and his loving parents, Krishna Bahadur Sarki and Indu Sarki, had a supportive home in the Leo’s Kids C-Flat (Room: Yugesh Bahadur Malla-3), a safe retreat from their home in Dadehdhura.
Govinda was officially released from the program as he successfully transitioned into the Maintenance phase of his recovery! His courage and his family’s dedication throughout this journey inspire us all.
