We are overjoyed to share the inspiring story of Purnima Roka! This incredibly brave 2-year-old warrior has not only reached a huge treatment milestone but is also our 130th Leo’s Kid to Survive Cancer!
Purnima has shown immense strength battling Blood Cancer. Along with her dedicated mother, Nirma tharu Roka, she was cared for in the Leo’s Kids K-Flat (Room: Spiralogies) for an incredible 500 days while receiving treatment.
Purnima received her care at Kanti Children’s Hospital.
On July 31, 2025, Purnima was officially released from the program as she successfully transitioned into the Maintenance phase of her treatment! Her resilience, even at such a young age, is a true testament to her fighting spirit.
We are so proud of Purnima and her family for their resilience. We wish them all the best on the next chapter of her journey!
