Meet our 265th Leo’s Kid: Niraj Khadayat!
We are honored to welcome our 265th Leo’s Kid, Niraj Khadayat, a brave 8-year-old boy from Bajhang! Niraj is currently undergoing treatment for Blood Cancer at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
Niraj’s health journey began with a fever, leading his parents, his father Tejandra Khadayat (a farmer) and his mother Purnima Khadayat (a housewife), to the District Hospital. An abnormal blood test report led to a referral to Bharatpur Cancer Hospital, where further examinations confirmed the diagnosis of blood cancer.
To provide a stable and supportive environment during his treatment, Niraj and his family are staying at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flat in the Pankonin & Jurgens Room. This safe, comfortable home allows them to focus entirely on Niraj’s recovery.
