A Festival of Blessings and Strength: Celebrating Dashain at Leo’s Kids Flats
A few days ago our Leo’s Kids and their family celebrated Dashain, the biggest festival in Nepal! 🥳 While our brave Leo’s Kids must continue their important treatment journey, we ensure they don’t miss out on the joy and tradition of this special time. We bring the celebration right here to them.
This year, the festivities were extra heartwarming as Harimaya Didi and our dedicated board members, Mahesh and his wife, celebrated the festival with the children and their families.
During Dashain, it is a beautiful tradition to gather and offer blessings for health and strength. For our Leo’s Kids, this tradition takes on a profound meaning. Every blessing for strength is a reminder of the daily courage they show in continuing their cancer treatment. It’s a moment for all of us ; staff, board, parents, and children to reaffirm our bond and encourage the fight.
