We are so happy to welcome our 260th Leo’s Kid, Chameli Ghartimagar, a brave 3-year-old girl from Puthan! Chameli is currently undergoing treatment for Lung Cancer at Patan Hospital in Kathmandu.
Chameli’s parents, her father Damber Ghartimagar, a labourer, and her mother Bina Ghartimagar, who works in farming, first brought her for a checkup after noticing she had a fever, cough, and a rapid heart rate. These symptoms led to her diagnosis and referral for specialized treatment.
Chameli is now settled at our P-Flat, a supportive environment that provides a safe and comfortable home away from home for her and her family during this difficult time. She was a student in the Kindergarten class at Shree Dipendra Ne Ra Prathamik Vidyalaya before her diagnosis.
Let’s surround Chameli and her family with love and support as she begins this challenging journey with Team Leo’s Kids.
