Our 259th Leo’s Kid, Laxmi Kumari Mahato! This brave 6-year-old girl from Sarlai was a member of our Leonardo Edward Shrestha Foundation family.
Laxmi was battling AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and was receiving treatment at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital. She and her family, her loving father Nagendra Mahato and mother Nisha Kumari, stayed at the C-Flat while she fought this courageous battle. Before her diagnosis, Laxmi was an LKG student at Alit Gharkauli School.
She had been suffering from AML and was bravely undergoing treatment at BP Cancer Hospital, supported every step of the way by her loving parents.
Despite the medical efforts, Laxmi’s courageous fight has come to an end. Her strength and spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
