A Special 11th Birthday for Our Leo’s Kid, Bhumika!
It was a day filled with joy and celebration at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flats as we celebrated the 11th birthday of our 188th Leo’s Kid, Bhumika Chaudhary! This is her second birthday with us, and we were thrilled to make it a memorable one, celebrating alongside her mom, dad, and the other Leo’s Kids.
Due to the curfew, ordering a birthday cake wasn’t an option, but that didn’t stop us! Our incredible caregiver, Kumari, stepped up and baked a beautiful, special birthday cake just for Bhumika. It was a perfect symbol of the love and care that surrounds our kids every day. Watching Bhumika and her family celebrate this milestone was a heartwarming reminder of why we do what we do.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every single person in Team Leo’s Kids. Your unwavering support, kindness, and generosity make these moments of joy and normalcy possible for children like Bhumika and their families as they face the difficult journey of cancer treatment.
Happy 11th Birthday, Bhumika! You are an inspiration. We are so proud of how far you’ve come and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. We know you’re just a couple of months away from completing this phase of your treatment and going home!
