We had such a birthday celebration at the Leo’s Kids P-Flat this week! Our 234th Leo’s Kid, Sonik Khanal, celebrated her very first birthday surrounded by her loving parents and the rest of our Leo’s Kids family.
Despite the recent protests and curfew in Nepal making it difficult to get a store-bought cake, our amazing caretaker, Sita, came to the rescue and baked a beautiful homemade cake just for Sonik. Even in challenging times, we find a way to create joy and celebrate every milestone.
Sonik’s infectious smile lit up the room as everyone sang “Happy Birthday.” We are so grateful to be a part of her journey and to provide a home where she can feel safe, loved, and celebrated. Please join us in wishing Sonik a very happy birthday and sending her and her family lots of love and strength.
