We are so happy to welcome 16-year-old Susma Mangrati from Dharan as our 240th Leo’s Kid! This brave young girl has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is currently receiving treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
Susma is now staying in one of our comfortable apartments, the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flat, providing a safe and supportive environment for her and her family during this challenging time. Her father, Shukra Bahadur Mangrati, works with a small home business, and her mother is Devi Lamsal. Susma also has one sibling.
Her journey began with pain in her left knee, which gradually increased, causing difficulty in her everyday life. After a few medical tests, she was diagnosed with blood cancer. Despite these challenges, we know Susma’s spirit will shine bright!
Before her diagnosis, Susma was a diligent student in class 9 at St. Joseph Secondary School. She finds immense joy in sports, music, and reading.
Let’s surround Susma and her family with love and support as they begin this journey with Team Leo’s Kids.
