We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 195th Leo’s Kid, 8-year-old Sirsha Gurung, has successfully completed her active treatment for blood cancer and is now entering the maintenance phase! Sirsha is the 129th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
Sirsha received her treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital. During these challenging 346 days, Sirsha and her family stayed at Leo’s Kid B-flat, in the Jurgens and Pankonins room, which became their home away from home.
Her parents, Sarjan Gurung, a farmer, and Abina Gurung, a housewife, have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and and courage throughout Sirsha’s journey. We are incredibly proud of Sirsha and her family and wish her all the best on her continued path to full recovery!
