We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 192nd Leo’s Kid, the 4-year-old Samira Tharu, has successfully completed her active treatment for blood cancer and is now entering the maintenance phase! Samira is the 128th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
Samira received her treatment at Kanti Children’s Hospital. During these challenging 273 days, Samira and her family stayed at Leo’s Kid K-Flat, room SVI48, which became their home away from home.
Her parents, Sunil Tharu, a Pathao Rider, and Hom Maya BK, a housewife, have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Samira’s journey.
