We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 220th Leo’s Kid, the 2-year-old Saina Shrestha, has successfully completed her active treatment for blood cancer and is now entering the maintenance phase! Saina is our 122nd Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
Saina received her treatment at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. During the challenging 28 days, Saina and her family stayed at Leo’s Kid C-flat, which became their home away from home.
Her parents, Tilak Bahadur Shrestha and Sarina Shrestha, both working in farming, have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Saina’s journey. Their dedication, along with Saina’s incredible resilience, has brought them to this significant milestone.
