We’re so happy to share the incredible news that our brave 2-year-old Leo’s Kid, Dipti Poudel, has successfully completed her active treatment for blood cancer and is now entering the maintenance phase and is finally heading home!! Dipti is our 106th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
Our 149th Leo’s Kid Dipti received her treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital under the expert care of Dr. Ritu Lamichhane. During her challenging journey, Dipti and her family stayed at the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flat, in the Jurgens-Pankoinis-3 room for 282 days, which became their home away from home.
Her mother shared, “I really enjoyed staying here. Today, I am overjoyed to have spent almost an entire year here, successfully completing my daughter’s treatment, and now taking her back home. Thank you so much to everyone!” Their dedication, along with Dipti’s incredible resilience, has brought them to this significant milestone.
