Meet our 215th Leo’s Kid: Bihan Bista!
We are so happy to introduce you to our 215th Leo’s Kid, Bihan Bista! This sweet 6-year-old boy, who absolutely loves playing football, hails from Kanchanpur. Bihan has recently joined our Leo’s Kids family and is now staying at our K-Flat in Dhapasi while he receives treatment for B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu.
Bihan’s journey to us began with symptoms of fever and weight loss. After initial checks revealed a lack of blood, he was referred to Kanti Hospital, where his cancer diagnosis was confirmed. It’s a challenging time for Bihan and his family, who are far from their home. His father, Prakash, works hard to provide for their family, which includes Bihan’s mother Sumita, and his sister Bidhya.
Despite the difficulties, Bihan’s spirit remains bright, and we are committed to providing him and his family with the support they need throughout his treatment journey, including housing, food, and assistance with medical expenses.
