Welcome our 210th Leo’s Kid, Barun Gurung!
👋 This brave 12-year-old boy from Sankuwasava has joined our family at the Leonardo Edward Shrestha Foundation. Barun has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is currently receiving treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
His journey began with persistent fever and leg pain, followed by paleness throughout his body. His parents, Devi Bahadur, a dedicated teacher, and Lalita, sought medical help at Civil Hospital where they confirmed the diagnosis. He’s now staying comfortably in the Arlene Miskelly Memorial Flat, a room generously sponsored by Nirju.
Before his diagnosis, Barun was attending Janta Ma Bi. We know he’s going to show incredible strength, and we’re here to support him and his family every step of the way. Let’s send him all our love and well wishes as he embarks on his treatment journey! ❤️
